Professional Film Set:
Collaborate with seasoned filmmakers on professional sets to get the high-quality footage you need to book your next gigs.Custom Scenes:
Create two to five dynamic scenes that showcase your unique style and talent. We will provide a script database for you to choose what suits your voice as an actor. We also offer custom scene consultation!Quick Turnaround:
Instead of waiting 6 months-1 year to receive outdated footage from a project, receive the media from your Demo Day shoot within two weeks. Upon request we will fully edit and compile the footage from your Demo Day into a reel, delivered soon after of your shoot.
Package Options:
Base Media Package: All of your footage - each scene you shoot on set. All of your takes will be included in one folder where footage is colored, sound is mixed, and all of your media is optimized for distribution. Delivered 2 weeks after shoot day.- Edited Media Package: All of your footage as listed above as well as each scene cut together as you would see in a traditional film. This means cross-coverage, pacing, and royalty free music added upon request. This, as well as a full 2 minute reel edit! Delivery takes roughly 30 days.

How does this work?
You will select up to 5 scenes or monologues that you would like to film from either our database or your own. We then pair you with scene partners based on overlap, tone, type, etc. The other actors will play support for your scenes and you will play support for theirs. You will film anywhere from 2-5 scenes on the day, depending on length and other variables. The day is incredibly flexible, we can accomodate almost any request! Oh I’ve seen these! But they usually look cheesy, right?
Not with us! We hire a professional crew, rent sets with character, and pair you with talented scene partners to ensure your footage feels like it was taken straight out of a fully produced short film!
Short film? So that means it’ll be a year until I see my footage...
Wrong again! With these scenes, we don’t have some larger narrative or picky director we are serving. Colored, uncut footage delivered to your inbox within 2 weeks.
I’m a writer, could I write a scene to bring to Demo Day?
Our database is full of original works! In fact, we prefer it. If you have an idea for a demo scene, please email it to us. Specs: scene or monologue, less than a page, can reasonably be done at a house location (kitchen, backyard, living room, driveway, etc). The less context, the better! Ps, you can use this as sneaky way to make a proof of concept for your short film -- we won’t tell.
I really need footage, but I can’t afford this right now. Do you offer financial assistance?
Yes! We know how difficult it can be to afford the materials you need to progress your career as an actor, which is why we offer a volunteer program for our members! Every day you volunteer to work on one of our sets, you get $100 off your Demo Day. Just let us know when responding to our crew calls that you would like to work for Demo Day credit!
